Abstracting and Indexing

The Physiological Journal (Fiziolohichnyi Zhurnal) is indexed and abstracted in internationally recognized bibliographic and scientometric databases, ensuring broad visibility and accessibility of its published content:

  • Scopus — coverage: 1960–1978, 1994–2016, 2019–present;
  • PubMed — 1955–2017 (historical coverage; currently undergoing re-certification);
  • Index Medicus — since 1965;
  • Index Copernicus — from 2020 to present.

The journal follows the principles of open access and best international publishing practices. The editorial board has submitted an application for inclusion of the journal in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The application is currently under expert review in accordance with DOAJ requirements.
