Abstract

The article discusses key principles of bioethics in biomedical research, including physiology and experimental medicine. It highlights the concepts of autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice, as well as ethical requirements for human studies, the use of laboratory animals in accordance with the 3R principles, and the handling of biological materials. The importance of ethical review, major international regulations, and scientific integrity is emphasized as a foundation for responsible contemporary scientific practice.
