He turned 80 on September 21, 2023 to an outstanding Ukrainian scientist, Dr of medical sciences (1986), professor (1993), corresponding member of the National Academy Sciences of Ukraine (1995) to Vadym Fedorovych Sagachu Vadym Fedorovych was born in the family of Fedor Petrovych, a history teacher at the Kherson Pedagogical Institute and Honored Teacher of Ukraine, Director Kherson School No. 15 of Akilina Fedotivna. After obtaining a medical education, V.F. Sagach began scientific activity with studies in graduate school of O.O. Bogomolets Institute of Physiology, where he worked in the laboratory of blood circulation pathology under the guidance of an academician M.M. Gorev.
