Abstract
It was found that feeding females with glutam 1M during
artificial insemination period on the 1st -3rd day of the sexual
cycle at a dose of 20 ml intensifies amino acid, carbohydrate,
energy metabolism, which contributes to the more intensive
functioning of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian system. As
a result, the concentration of progesterone and 17β-estradiol
increases, and this predetermines an increase of the number
of pregnant animals by 13.3% (P≤0.05), live newborn piglets
per 1.4 heads (P ≤ 0.001), their weight by 5.4% (P ≤ 0.001),
and a 25% decrease in stillbirth Piglets.
